International Youth Day

In commemoration of International Youth Day 2026, Olive Community Development Initiative (OCDI), in collaboration with QwiKraft , organised a Youth Skills Workshop designed to equip young people with practical digital and creative skills. The workshop introduced participants to Canva, Artificial Intelligence, and creative printing, combining learning with hands-on practical sessions. Participants had the opportunity to transform ideas into designs and learn how these skills can be applied to entrepreneurship and livelihood opportunities. At OCDI, we recognise that meaningful youth development goes beyond celebrating young people. It requires creating access to skills, knowledge, tools, and opportunities that enable young people to participate meaningfully in their communities and build sustainable futures. As we celebrate International Youth Day, we reaffirm our commitment to investing in young people and supporting them to turn their aspirations into action. Happy International Youth Day 2026!
